DAVID EDWARDS
David started his stand-up career in Washington, DC in 1987. He honed his skill as an actor at the national Conservatory of Performing Arts. That theatrical talent has earned him roles in such films as "Half-Baked", "House Party III" and character roles on Fox's "In Living Color". His dynamic personality was also spotlighted on MTV's "The Real World", where the world saw the daily account of his life. That show enabled David to make a name for himself in the stand-up arena as well as with the viewing public.
David has recently completed work on his comedy album called "Kicked Out Live" This album was taped live at carolines Comedy Club in New York City and the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. David talks about his views on the world from Gen-X perspective and turns those views into an hour of hilarious comedy. His television credits include; HBO's Def Comedy Jam, NBC's Friday Night Videos, MTV, Showtime at the Apollo, BET, The Apollo Comedy Hour, and Comedy Central. |
